「そらそい出演者と行く、“ハワイ国際映画祭”感動ツアー」レポート7
『レポート7 〜不意に来た癒しタイム〜の巻』
(ワイキキ最後の朝)
＜10月19日＞
イルカツアーの際、勢いで申し込んだスタンドアップカヌーをやるため、
みんなで早朝ホテルを出発し目的地へ向かった。
途中ワイキキで有名なレオナルドという揚げパンみたいな"マラサダ"
のお店に立ち寄り、朝食を購入。
美味しかったからなのか、なぜか三木監督はTシャツまで買ってる・・・
なんだか響きのいい“マラサダ”をほお張ってると目的地へ到着。
そこで我々が見たのはたくさんのサーフボードとオール。
みなここで合点。
「なんだ、カヌーじゃないんだ〜」
個人的には「カヌーで激流下り・・・それを立って!?」
とわくわくしてたので、少し意気消沈。
が、やってみるとなかなか奥が深い！
静寂の中、緑に囲まれた川をゆったり進んでいると
なんだかハワイの大自然につつまれたような感覚になり、
とっても癒されるスピリチュアルスポーツだった。
川というものは海につながっている・・・
みんな海に出た途端立ってられず、座って波と格闘。
しまいにゃオールを捨て普通にサーフィンを楽しんだ。

この後「山のあなた」上映がある為、
スパッと仕事モードに切り替え、会場へ向かい、舞台挨拶と鑑賞。
そして映画祭最後の夜、あんなことやこんなことをして
過ごしました。
